Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th in 1981) is an American actor. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext in the year 2000. After appearances in a variety of teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in further films based on comics and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). He gained wider recognition for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). Because of his Marvel film work, he was one the most highly-paid actors on the planet.
